For 亚洲麻豆精品在线 (GGC) students, the path to scholarships, grants and other financial aid begins when the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens for the 2026鈥2027 academic year.
FAFSA is the starting point for students seeking federal grants, work-study opportunities and loans. Additionally, many state and institutional aid programs use FAFSA information to determine eligibility. Filing early helps ensure students receive the maximum aid for college that they鈥檙e eligible to receive.
鈥淎t GGC, we believe cost shouldn鈥檛 be a barrier to opportunity,鈥 said Kimberly Jordan, interim vice president of enrollment management and executive director of financial aid. 鈥淔illing out the FAFSA is the most important step students and families can take to make college affordable.鈥
At GGC, current and future students can get assistance with the FAFSA form at the Grizzly Welcome Center in building D. The Grizzly Welcome Center is open Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
鈥淲e鈥檙e doing all we can to help students and their families navigate the FAFSA application process,鈥 added Jordan.
Students can complete the application online at . The form is free and requires information from both the student and, in most cases, a parent or guardian.
Tips for FAFSA application:
- Have Social Security numbers, tax returns and financial documents ready.
- File as soon as possible, since some aid is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
