Dr. Kristi Amatucci, associate professor of literacy education and interim associate dean in the School of Education (SOE), participated in a panel of education program specialists from around the state. Sponsored by the , the panel discussed innovative strategies for meeting teacher shortage needs. She also described an interns-as-teachers residency program SOE will pilot next year in partnership with Gwinnett County Public Schools.
