Biography
Dr. Jyoti Valluri is an assistant professor of nursing in the School of Health Sciences' Nursing Department at 亚洲麻豆精品在线. Her academic interests include mental health, nursing research and non-traditional adult education.
Valluri has 35 years of nursing experience, specializing in mental health, gerontology and community health. Her passion lies in non-traditional adult education. She has provided instruction from primary school through the collegiate level and continuing education for both educators and medical professionals. The focus of her research is on using micro-practices to reduce stress for practicing nurses and students.
Valluri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, a master's degree in adult, occupational and continuing education, a graduate certificate in positive psychology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in nursing research. She is a certified nurse educator, stress management consultant, and has authored several peer-reviewed articles.
