Biography
Dr. Margaret Corvidae is an assistant professor of health science in the School of Health Sciences at ÑÇÖÞÂé¶¹¾«Æ·ÔÚÏß. Her academic interests include public health, human health promotion and wellbeing, adult education theory and practice, social justice, and leadership.
Corvidae's career began as a research specialist at the University of Georgia, working for a NIDA P30 Center of Excellence where she managed large longitudinal human subjects research projects exploring contextual genetics, chronic stress, HIV risk and other health-related outcomes. She later served in various health promotion roles as an educator and coach. Corvidae joined ÑÇÖÞÂé¶¹¾«Æ·ÔÚÏß in 2017 teaching health and wellness and physical education courses, and now serves in the School of Health Sciences, teaching in the public health and patient navigation concentrations.
Corvidae has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Public Health, and a Doctorate of Education in Adult Learning, Leadership and Organizational Development. Corvidae is a Certified Health Education Specialist, a Registered Yoga Teacher, a mindfulness meditation professional and a professional development consultant.
